Best Books For 2 Year Olds 2021

1. You’re Two!

In this engaging and fun-filled board book about the number two, toddlers and their favorite grown-ups will love finding all of the ways in which number two is unique: two eyes to see, two ears to hear, two arms for hugging, and two thumbs up for turning TWO!

Both parents and children will enjoy celebrating their distinct age in such a unique manner, and parents will appreciate the easy introduction to counting and basic arithmetic as their toddler becomes comfortable with the concept of two as a number. It’s a wonderful present for second birthdays or any other occasion when your child is celebrated!

2. The Wonderful Things You Will Be

My favorite part of our day is reading books to my children. Every evening, when the weather permits, my two youngest children and I curl up on the sofa with a book. Our collection continues to grow, and I’m always delighted to discover a book that I’m genuinely enthusiastic about adding to our collection.

The Wonderful Things You Will Be is a book that I think every family should own. It has beautiful pictures and words, and it makes people feel happy. A friend of mine said she cried when she read it the first time. Maybe it was because she was pregnant or something else, but I think they really liked the book too. – Review

3. Guess How Much I Love You

We got this book for our son. He is now 2 years old, and we read this book every day with him. He doesn’t get it when I say “little nutbrown hare,” so I substitute “little brown bunny”. We’ll move on to the nutbrown hare at some point in the future 🙂 The book is lovely, and the illustration is gorgeous.

4. My Best Toddler Coloring Book

Fun with Numbers, Letters, Shapes, Colors, Animals: Big Activity Workbook for Toddlers & Kids

My daughter is 2 years and 3 months old. She loves this coloring book. I got her another one because she finished the first one! I like this coloring book because the pages are simple and the drawings are big. It is easy for kids to color because they can make it how they want. I recommend this book!

Best Abc Books For 2 Year Olds

5. Let’s Learn ABCs

-With 27 Fun Sound Buttons, this Book is the Perfect Introduction to ABCs! (Listen & Learn)

Let’s Learn ABCs is a fun and engaging way for babies and toddlers to learn the alphabet. On each page, large capital and lowercase letters have dotted lines that allow tiny hands to practice tracing them. This book offers a wonderful introduction to the ABCs with its bright pictures, essential first words, and amusing sound buttons!

This was one of many toys for a long journey, and my daughter asked for it frequently. She continues to play with it since she enjoys her ABCs right now. The pages of this book are thick and glossy, with many pictures. You may press each letter to hear what it is and receive a word with sounds. It also includes a button that sings the alphabet to you. It’s quite sturdy, too. This is an excellent book for toddlers aged 2 years old. – Review

Best Animal Books For 2 Year Olds

6. World of Eric Carle, Around the Farm Animal

– 30-Button Sound Book – Great for First Words – PI Kids

My almost two-year-old granddaughter loves this book, and it keeps her occupied on car rides. There are a lot of buttons to press with animal noises, and the sound quality is excellent. The turkey is one of her favorites.

The animals on these buttons are adorable, and they’re fun for a baby, but when the vast majority of the animal buttons make the authentic sound made by those animals when pressed, it seems odd to have just a few of them be the wrong sounds (because caterpillars and butterflies don’t make noise, obviously).

But in the end, it’s a hardy, toddler-proof book that can withstand being dropped and she adores it and wants to play with it over and over, so I’m very satisfied with this purchase. It would be a fantastic present for an 18 month to 24-month-old as a gift. – Review

Best Big Brother Books For 2 Year Olds

7. I Am a Big Brother

We got this book for our 2.5-year-old son in preparation for our second kid to be born in December 2021. This is a fun book for him to read at bedtime. The pictures are easy for him to understand and they make him laugh. The images in this book illustrate family life with a baby and a toddler. He really likes the picture of the dirty diaper. This is an excellent book for parents who are expecting another child and have a toddler.

Best Learning Books For 2 Year Olds

8. Boxiki kids – ABC Sound Book for Children English Letters & Words, Fun Educational Toys

– Interactive Books for Toddlers, Learning Toys for Toddlers

This is a good book for toddlers. It teaches the alphabet and numbers, as well as animals, shapes, and more. There is also a quiz option to help the child learn. The special thing about this book is that you can change the volume on it. The battery area is sturdy. But the book isn’t as big as it looks in the picture of the kid holding it.

This book is more like a regular book than it is to be 9 by 11 inches. However, please remember that this book requires three AAA batteries (not included) and there are none in the book. I don’t care about this because not all devices come with batteries. I am used to buying them separately anyway. – Review

Best Children’S Books For 2 Year Olds

9. The Gruffalo

Although our infant son is yet too young to comprehend the book, we both adore Julia Donaldson’s works. The books are written in a haiku form and are entertaining and instructive. It teaches the value of remaining cool under pressure and coming up with innovative solutions in the case of The Gruffalo. Julia wrote books called Room on the Broom and The Snail and the Whale. I think she is a good writer because she teaches about relationships. We want to buy more of her books in the future. – Review

10. My Best Toddler Coloring Book

– Fun with Numbers, Letters, Shapes, Colors, Animals: Big Activity Workbook for Toddlers & Kids

Let your child have fun coloring with this awesome coloring book. It includes pictures for your toddler to color that is a little more complicated than his other ones. There are lots of pages with letters, numbers, and shapes. Your child will enjoy the pictures of animals! The pictures are on both sides of the page. He doesn’t have to turn the pages. The pages are also big so he can draw or copy shapes with them. This book is tall, so it might go over his table, but not a problem to fix if you look for shorter books that will fit.

Best Christmas Books For 2 Year Olds

11. How the Grinch Stole Christmas!

I’ve always liked “The Grinch” as a kid, so I had to get this for my kids this Christmas. I haven’t given it to them yet, and I won’t be until the night before Christmas Eve as their “night before Christmas box,” but I’ve flipped through the pages already. The book has a clean, new book feel to it because of how tightly the binding is bound; I adore this. It arrived without any scratches or damage to the cover, which is always nice!

Best Flap Books For 2 Year Olds

12. Little Green Frog Chunky Lift-a-Flap Board Book

This is my son’s favorite book. He liked this book for about 18 months to 2 years. Now he likes the construction vehicles, but he still really likes this book. My mom bought four books in the series and I think this one is the best written and most beautifully illustrated. There are ways to make this book even more fun. I have a lot of ideas. For example, when the frog is hungry, I tickle my son’s tummy. I also bought a second copy of the book for my godson when he turned one year old and he carries it to church every Sunday -which means- he must enjoy it.
